Vascular Therapy

Vascular therapy refers to a wide range of device solutions for the treatment of cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, endovascular and neurovascular diseases. Fort Wayne Metals designs, develops and manufactures medical grade wire from specialized materials that provide a high level of precision and reliability.

Recent Development: SLT™ Wire

Fort Wayne Metals has recently developed a proprietary process for the production of SLT™ medical grade wire. This new product offers excellent straightness and torqueability directly off the spool or when cut to a discrete length. SLT™ is now utilized in many applications where straightened wire was previously used. Fort Wayne Metals’ process can be used to transform various types of medical grade wire to provide straightness off the spool with a deviation of less than .020" in 12".
